beware linwood surfers who surf in contests and do well and get great press. but don't actually surf. like their parents. phonies stain the real talent which we have but these types get the credit. but even a cursory look at the atlantic city crew belies shockingly good surfers whom we just don't hear about. instead phonies call themselves contest surfers and now they have a career so we must concern ourselves w/them. but they don't actually surf. just like their parents.
