It's not that deep brutha.....Hey Billy, I think you're just bored.

Should probably re-locate to Thailand. Seriously. Best friend did it 7 yrs ago. Chucked Nueva York & whatever that noise constitutes. Split.

So inexpensive there in Thailand. And taxes are a joke. He's built a house which he will flip for a profit. He was a photo editor in USA - - no 'developer' experience.

Chicas. So many chicas. He's 50; after going wild for a few years upon arrival, now sort of settled in with a smokin' 34 yr old babe who has her own biz, she's not looking for the farang walking ATM.

Food there is healthy. There is surf, not world class Belmar but tropical. Easy & cheap access to Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indo....

Dude. Just go. You can always come back. But you will never get out of your swirling morass at this rate.

My buddy laughs at me - - says keep on paying your taxes to cover all those illegal immigrants & the USA social entitlement policies. My buddy? He's never, ever coming back.

My evil ex was exactly that passive aggro lil piece of farking nastiness cloaked in a physically super fine smiling act. It was like being with a Klingon who could activate the cloaking device at will, with me being the only one who could see through the fog. At times it felt like insanity to me.

After 7 yrs I bailed. Cost me $250k. Set me back. Aside from my whole house-gennie, and my 6'6 Lost LazyBoy, the best money I ever spent.

If you found surfing, you have already found some small form of enlightenment.

This is not bad advice Bob. Remember in your previous life I encouraged you to try a new place. I was thinking Florida (DPsup may be able to point in a direction for a place to stay and/or work.)

I can't imagine your state of mind with the high level drugs and the mix you partake in. I lived with a dude back in the 90s who basically controlled his mood with pills... Daily. It was tough to see him totally breakdown but he is now clean.

Here is the thing. Being bored is sorta a cop out. Here is what he told me. Instead of putting all his energy into his next mental gig, he would find things to do....constructive things. Because of the urge to get high, he would find things to do physically. Now, this was in Hawaii and he mountain bike and hiked and did various volunteering. His point was stay busy. It was the challenge of staying clean that kept him from being bored.

You are right that non of us can understand your addiction. You do though! Your the one to overcome it... Or not. I hope you do. Give it a shot. I bet you will not be bored... You will be too busy. Start a thread anytime you get bored.... Beyond all the bull**** on this board I think you would find that this community would get behind you with encouragement. Tighten up so you can surf when your 70!

    Dis tread is some schitt.

Clicked on it thinking it might go classic - like betting on one of those dot com startups back in the 90s that everyone talks about...high hopes can be dashed quick but then...bang.

Learned that Billy knows his NH points and just doesn't reference them fondly for no reason. Also, that one of these years, hopefully he finds a narcan/naltrexone/mentos speedball in his Christmas stocking. And I like when Billy used to talk about the days he used to be stoked more on surfing.

Learned that Chavez had a post that went way too uncelebrated. Sic post bruh. Mad funny!

Learned that DSUP is in perpetual paradise with his lady piece. Good for him and the positivity and faith is solid stuff. Like existentialism meets metaphysics meets a good home-cooked dinna on the reg.

Learned that metard is way more than just the cunning desert island funny one-liner factory he debuted as. But I knew that a while ago mang. He can cook DSUP that fine meal if his piece ends up being the one tard described. Then they can have a good surf too as cats on here sometimes do for break meetups.

Hey, what's the ratio of 757-Killa Kiel type bro meetups on here compared to the infamous I'll pound your face in with my iPhone 7 case break meetup?

I learned that yankee's fav stick is NOT his Dwart and therefore maybe he's looking to market it. Also dat braddah has lived and learned and many who've done so aren't full of smiles all the time since they know what a lot of this world is about. And Thailand. That's a sic thought, then again I'm kickin it on the west coast for now.

Quality tread! Plenty of good stuff, no one's gone biblical or postal yet, and schitt...I didn't even get to ask BBP how the chezburger was! So bud, how was it??

Yank, I am not moving to Thailand, but my woman is half Thai. I get lots of delicious food from her mom, but I still pay taxes. BWHAHAHAHA And you know what farang is! LOL Or pronounced falong depending on where you are.

Thanks dude, but let's not get it twisted, my wife and I battle from time to time, and it can be ugly. But the positive outweighs the negative. All my primary needs are met, as are hers. When things get rocky, just remember the things that got you to where you are and get back to basics. I think the downfall of most marriages is getting complacent or too comfortable and next thing you know you're in a rut. Try avoiding those by mixing things up. Keep it fun! Easier said than done right? I agree, but you have to try.

Now, 20 years from now will I be singing the same tune? IDK, I hope so, but if not I'll come back to this here thread and say they were right! HAHA I'm still learning and growing myself, so I don't pretend to have all the answers. Just giving my POV.

Something else I find that helps keep her positive is going down on her regularly and banging daily, make sure you put it down like you use to, that's why she stuck with you to begin with. Everybody wants a mate that can throw down in the bedroom. Just some tips I've found that keep things happy in the DPSUP household.

SI, now giving relationship and marital counseling...

+1 to this! I think as men, we just want sex, but women, they need the sex because it makes them feel more attractive. So when you are tossing it to her on the regular, she is in a better mood! HA I could be wrong, but I think there is some truth to that

I haven't read all of this but from looking...and I'm going surfing, ha.

This is NOT aboot women or being "lonely"

    Absolutely not.

One of the things is I've been surfing for a long time. I'm bored of it.

It was my identity. I was the nigga who dug cold weather...the one who was out by his lonesome in all conditions....

And now, I'm forcing myself to go surfing today.

And now, I complain aboot the cold....

I don't know, ten yard close-outs just don't do it for me any more.

I lost the stoke. It's gone.

    So now what is there?

    Rock climbing?

Ha, dude, I'm like a tenth generation Irish addict.

And thanks...ahh see there's another thing. I was on the writing thing when I started my last job. Sold two articles to some website in my first week of submitting stuff.

    I was on it...

And then my job just took over.

    And I stopped.

And I can't get that "stoke", back either. There's just nothing I want to do right now, well except sniff opiates. And the past two months I've only been doing that 1-2 x a week. And it's only been pills.

Alright 3 foot close outs are calling. See what happens......
