The best way to find that out is to look for yourself. I really dont think anyone is going to tell you their spot. Plus, it feels alot better when you find a sick spot by yourself.
Yeah, definitely get a permit and head down, if anything you can snap some nice pics, as I'm sure the wildlife is sick further south. Good luck!
