Hey all, I'm gonna be vacationing in AC next week and I'm bring my sponge gear with me. Aside from any friendly faces, I was wondering how AC handles something in the 3-5 foot range with long period swells? At my normal places Belmar and Island beach I have a pretty good idea of what to expect having gotten on Bill and Danny last year. AC seems like whole different case to me. The one time I was out there you could almost walk out in the water to the end of Pier shops. All that extra sand with no drop off would have what kind of effect on wave formation?

And as for those friendly faces, I'm staying at Bally's so it looks like I may take the hike up to Taj at least, or shell out the cash for the jitney and head up to the inlet. If any spongers are out lemme know.
