haha. nice... Im no dolphin expert. But ive encountered quite a few and they are incredible fast underwater. They usually never will actually touch or contact a human. I have been paddling out as a school of dophins were surfing the wave coming right at me. I had to duck dive, and the dolphins were coming right at me, under water I braced myself for impact, and all 6 or 7 of them missed me completely. I felt water spinning all around me, but they all can make a hair pin turn going fast as hell, so unless that was an unusually aggressive dolphin, im thinking you encountered something else... Plus, most dolphins can identify human limbs etc... They usually dont go "ramming" things unless they are really trying to kill another animal... I would love to know what could bruise you like that... or maybe I wouldnt... creepy.. Either way, right now Im going to go paddle out and try and catch me one of these "Giant Humbolt Squids" visiting us here in SD... Ill keep you guys posted =)
ya where was this at? cus about a week ago a surfer was bumped by a shark in assateague n we all had to get out sooo idk but iv def seen waaayyy more sharks this year than any other
Yeah, Ive heard you guys speaking of the men in grey suits more than usual in the past few months. I thought spring time back in the mid atlantic was the busiest time for sharks since there are less fish to eat. Am I wrong in that assumption? It sounds to me from the different publications im hearing from that they stay in the water all the way into the fall... interesting... I know that the bigs boys out here usually show up at the same time of year. April.... Then you dont hear from them come mid-may... I guess they are just passing through on their way back up north.
