    Hey Guys,

I created a post a short while back on my Donald Takayama asking what y'all thought it was worth. I decided today to pull board out of the bag, clean and polish it. I figured I would make a new post specifically addressing the question of authenticity.

I realize the board isn't yet a collector's item but at some point it may be. I thought it was signed by DT but I cannot find any signature on it.

it is 9'4" long and in great shape. I have attached a lot of pics. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to tell if it's a DT original?

The fin is not delaminating as the picture suggests. It's marks from the fin box.

that label makes a lot of boards not actually signed

why do you think it's not legit?

I think it is legitimate but I know some companies have boards made in mass not by shaper himself. Just trying to see if DT made this one.

based on " no signature" and what mr zagaffer says, i would say it's not shaped by DT

Dang. You're probably right. I guess that strips a good bit of value from it. It has no writing on it. just decals...and awesome resin tinting/splash.
