People up north order grits with milk and sugar. WTF?

 

butter and syrup, yea?

I might drive to delaware just to eat at a waffle house when I get to jerz in 3 weeks...

We here in the north specialize in breads and meats. I think I speak for all of us northerners when I say you can keep your grits.
We do like your southern belles, though. You can share them.

I like grits with butter and salt.

Shrimp and grits. The dish that puts all others to shame.

 

Some of my best dinners were shrimp and grits....best shrimp and grits I had were in Irvington, va.

 

F yeah dude. A place in Charleston SC makes shrimp and grits sick. I forget where. So friggen good. That, to me, is the best of southern food. Fried okra too. That should have its own food group designation. People who never lived in the South just don't understand.

 

I know what I'm having for breakfast post sesh!

 

Best shrimp and grits I every had were in my kitchen!

 

It is my favorite restaurant in the world. I am so happy when I travel to the South and am able to partake in the delicacies provided by the House.

I would trade In N Out in a second for Waffle House
