I just got a new board after 12 years of not touching a surfboard. I got a 10' 6" Walden Majic. Im a big guy. Short but Fat! LOL. I just had weight loss surgery and have been dropping the pounds so I hope to paddle out soon. Probably gonna wait till Fall. We go fishing in Montauk every year and Ditch Plains and Turtle Cove just screams my name every year. I sucked back in the day because I didnt know anyone that surfed. Im sure Ill suck worse now but Im dead set on being in the water again. I miss it. Hope to learn a lot here.
Welcome back. If we see someone flopping around on a Magic, we'll try not to give them a hard time. My friend actually just got the Mini Magic at the beginning of the summer. I've ridden it a couple of times and the thing has the best of both performance and noseriding longboards. Good luck and see you in the water
Lol... Dont worry I wont mess anyone up. Im not getting into a line-up anytime soon. Gonna hit some waves on my own and see what happens. I have some more weight to drop for I can pop-up so it will be a little while. Probably fall.
