Yea their cool, really badass. Especially to chew a hole through a steel cage. We have a varmint here, also in the weasel family called a Fisher Cat. About the size of a small Fox. There have been reports of minor attacks toward people but nothing serious yet. It did happen to break into the chicken coop last summer at about 1 in the morning. Every 15 minutes it would kill one. Four total. "The screams were something from a horror movie" . The next morning woke up to a quadruple homicide with half eaten chickens all over the ground. Of course the next night my wife made dinner...chicken, almost threw up. Still dislike the smell of chicken!

In CR there's Coatis. Playful raccoon/weasel hybrid critter. A friend that lives in the Corcovado say's they're the devil's pet. Once a day the come into his yard and rip a chicken apart for fun. His dogs would chase them. When cornered, they'd lay on their backs in submission position, when the dog come up for a sniff, they'd get their throats slashed by long freddy kruger claws.
