I remember seeing a picture on FB or somewhere else that showed the tip of bald head with what looked like some really solid lines coming through. Does anyone remember seeing this and/or have a copy of the picture?
I do not remember that pic but Bald Head has some good waves with the right conditions. I will say the dozen or so times I have surfed there I saw fins every time without fail. I know FL is supposed to be the sharkiest spot on the EC but I think Bald Head may rival it. I saw a large bull shark (8+ft) there about 5 years ago just down from the East Beach club.
Been down to Ft Fisher but never all the way to Bald Head. Kind of a PITA to get there and I heard it's real iffy to get the right conditions. Also everyone one I know that's been there says it's shark city and you also get all the crap water coming out from the Cape Fear river. If I was there I'd hit it but otherwise not worth the effort IMHO. Points are always tempting though, if I had a boat I'd be much more inclined to check it out.
