so u live in mb?im not from mb but I basically grew up surfing that wave, the pre replenishment days.I ask because I know all the real people who surfed there before the flock of seagulls arrived.that wave is a joke nowadays, its sad but true.it was once a hidden secret while everybody drove past it not knowing whats on the otherside of the wall.it can hold basically any swell under 15 ft.there used to be an outer sandbar, like really really really fuking far from shore that looked like an outer reef spot.never seen it barrel, but its a big mushburger at 15ft.

so are u a sponger?when I was surfing there, there was literally 5 spongers and 4 surfers,me being one of the four.its a spongers wave and its their spot so I always gave them their picking.u remember talking about wardo,if so then u met me like 6 yrs ago.u remember the little grom,he was 13 at the time and didn't have a 5/4 nor boots or gloves and would paddle out mid January in a 4/3 with no boots or gloves.hes probably 19 now,its been a while

Not sure why you guys think I'm some one else but oh well. I'm just a southern redneck who hates the north. Also everyone knows China is the financial capital of the world.

Yep its still a spongers wave,But They are all very generous with me and that outer reef your talking about is a sunken drainpipe. Anything over headhigh and it still pops out their, mushy but a great way to setup for the inside barrel. Theirs a bunch of groms and they all have the proper equipment, I'd love to know who you are referring too.

Nice. Used to have a family member with Delta. Flew a few times for free. Only down side was you're on standby, so you get bumped once in a while. Free tickets are the best tickets.

like I said I don't surf there anymore, place became way too crowded, like a deal crowd.how long have u been surfing there,if its been a while im sure u ran into me before.everybody is cool there,no harsh vibes, atleast when I was there.

did the jetty ever reappear?that was the last time I checked it,i stopped there on my way to work in lb one morning during a swell and I remember I went up the wall and didn't even see the water.i remember the days where the water would be hitting the seawall, they really fukd the place up.

and are u referring to the drain pipe to the right of the jetty?there were days when u could walk along the jetty and if u jump off ur in the middle of the ocean, maybe not the middle lol,but u were pretty far out,and if u paddled for another 10 minutes you would reach that outside sandbar.i had some pics of that outer bar I have to see if I got them posted online somewhere, that camera and memory card is long gone.when I was there it was the middle zone that went off,to the left of the jetty had some epic barrels.like I said years ago I knew everybody there, today I probably don't know an eighth of the crowd

The drainpipe is to the left or north of the jetty and yes the jetty is exposed again. Its my favorite spot, nice horseshoeing rights and a reverse left bowl with a nice ramp at the end of the wave. I moved here 12 years ago from long beach island. Im sure we know each other, you should come check it out again ...
