Wanted to give everyone an update....just got back from cruise and went surfing in Barbados Wednesday. Unbelievable! Went to 2 breaks-1 was in front of hilton hotel, (overhead but choppy) surfed there about 2 hours and then went to frieghts bay. Frieghts was the best/prettiest wave ive ever surfed, it was chest to head, glassy as a lake and PERFECT! My surf tour guide (Jay Garrett) said it doesnt get much better than that. We were longboarding and i had, without question, my longest rides ever. My wife got some good video from the cliff that overlooks frieghts and ive already watched it over and over! Next year, no cruise, am flying straight there and staying all week. Promised id give an update and it was BETTER than i ever imagined!

stoked for my man pfox....actually very jealous but cant complain cuz after 20 years of waiting finally got to snowboard and it was pretty darn sweet. took a lesson and was doin 360s down the beginner slope 15 minutes into the lesson. instructor took me straight up the mountain and although I scared myself silly the instructor said that was the fastest she ever saw a beginner go down. well from there I progressed fairly fast but also took some mean spills. no sore muscles just sore upper arms. thats what took most of the bust when i ate it. all in all had a blast and sugar mt. had around 10-15 inches of snow from that storm...most they had since 89 according to a couple of locals i talked to. ready to hit it again soon! Daughter(5) was skiing down bunny on first day and so was wifey. cool trip
All those years of thrashing had to pay off Cricha. Pfox is going to be a bit jaded next time there is a swell here. Lets all hit it friday morn around 8 am at our usual spot-should be a glassy little knee slapper coming in....-EZ
yes, jaded indeed! the wetsuit looks alittle extra bulky and uncomfortable right now! one thing is for sure, my wife needs to learn not to EVER put the camcorder down just to catch some rays. she can get her UV's in PI! she got 1 decent ride out of many!! and certainly that one wave that i will remember forever is..... only recorded in my head! i guess she thought this was her vacation too-lol
