Brithday barrels? Sick! Being born in the middle of July and living in the northeast, I can only dream of a nice birthday swell. Every few years, the ocean is kind enough to throw some shin high walls at us for my birthday groveling pleasure. And happy birthday is right man. 22 was a quality, quality year, at least it came in as such. By the time it went out, I'd started spending my days staring at a screen all day instead of surfing, and, well, here I still am...

thanks guys! yea chich i got a couple waist-chest high little barrels at the pier. the sandbar there has been wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than 1st street for like the last year. i havent surfed 1st street since june. may never go back haha PS Got some new 5mm drylocks boots!! finally have something thicker than my 2mm for winter haha. my feet will not be numb for a half hour now.

God surely smiled upon thee, because it's back to being crap! I've been noticing that Croatan has been better than 1st st. as well. There be thieves galore in that parking lot. No more guard at the fence leading into Pendelton. It gets spooky in there when there's munitions being set off.
