Uh, not so much - - wolves are wolves, cattle are cattle & the "farmettes" who run less head of cattle than big agra don't get hit by wolves in disproportionate levels, e.g., therefore your perspective is unrealistic. I'd like to see a non-cattle-industry-funded study that backs up your claim.

Hate if you must. I'm just making a point.

I'm just saying that these carnivores stress out livestock. I was also saying that it may be over exaggerated to the point of over kill. Here in the mid Atlantic up in the Piedmont, the coyote is causing havoc.

I have an article that I cut and pasted too. This is in Montana but makes my point. I'm not advocating killing every wolf. In the mountains of VA there have been bounties for coyotes b/c of effect due to over population. Not to mention how many young fawns and turkey they kill. No hate here b!

Another example of the human virus defecating on the planet & our fellow creatures.

Shark fins knifed from living creatures, rhino horns cut off from the slaughtered animal rotting ion the sun, elephant tusks cut off from more animals slaughtered & left rotting in the sun, glandular secretions forcibly removed from living bears...all for confabulated aphrodisiac asshat potions.

WTF is wrong with that particular strain of human virus anyways...???

Most of you guys know that I am an avid hunter and have been for over 40 years. I have never once hunted bears. never saw the need when I was getting plenty of venison, turkey, rabbit, and grouse. I have had plenty of run ins with black bears in upstate PA, including one this past weekend while trout fishing with my youngest son. he was pushing 500 pounds in April which means that by October he will be a 700 plus pounder. he walked by us at about 50 yards, which he could cover in the blink of any eye. We stood up to make ourselves bigger and we started talking loud. he just looked at us like 'meh' and kept on sauntering off. It's an awesome experience.
