Found a Beater board for cheap, thought about about picking it up to add to the toys. What do you guys think, anyone used one?
Nah get the softtech tomcarrol sumthing special. I bought it for my 7 yr old and I love riding it in the swim beach in the summer ...

No hate for longboarders here (I'm a shortboarder), you shouldn't have hate either. Without longboards surfing wouldn't even exist... I have respect for everyone out in the water, maybe a little less for SUP but really... There are other people in the water too.
Only reason I thought about getting it, is because it's only $50. Not even sure how much I would use it, but it might be something fun.
Are those the ones with FCS fins? They look pretty sick for softboards. I'm very surprised they let you ride it at a blackball beach, though.
Where I usually surf there's a guy I sometimes see riding one when the waves are good. It seems like most people only ride them in marginal waves. In good waves it looks really difficult but fun. If you have a spare 50 bucks I think it would definitely be worth it.
Yeha that is what I thought you meant. Those are fun plus you can ride em in the no surf zones liek a bodyboard. For $50 I'd buy it.
