Bertha Swell Vs. Today's Swell...

Bigger than Bertha where I surfed this morning. Had to wait for your wave though. Gonna try and get out again this afternoon

 

Surfed inlet.... Prob second guy out and first guy kept ditching his board right in front of me... Green board guy in middle maybe u saw him. Peak wasnt working early and rest of town and ****pipe were bigger but heavy drift. Had to b working in trenton by 945.. But fluck N A ill be back out by 4 but prob not inlet again

This is what i saw. One sponger in winter fullsuit w hood n boots. 3 other spongers in head hi soup with no fins. One guy had a gun. Green board guy ditched 100 tomes and caught zero. One summer pro had a gopro in his mouth like it was namibia. That was also a water photog... Why i dunno...dont get me wrong i had a blast and love watching people eat it but wow. Peak wasnt right but middles breaking like jenks. Where was everyone at? Maybe mb

 

its true, it all happened in my back yard. empty kiddie pool filled to the brim in a few hrs.

 

In Monmouth county by me, today much bigger than bertha. Lots of water and swell. Kinda sketchy at times for me but a couple really fast drops made me smile. Hopefully continues to clean up. Post pics later.

Yes, I noticed the Wed thing also. I have two standing meetings every Wed so it's the worst day for me. It's driving me nuts.

 

Northern moco was going off on sets. Overhead sets here and there and nice spitting barrels. Drift was insane where I was at.

Pier? Every punk that couldn't handle the drift yesterday was going for priority. You people, pier surfing today...PM me. I want to talk. Perhaps we should all go surf together, one at a time. Get in line. I think we need a one on one.

Etiquette takes an extra dive once ECSC is in the air. Cool, a chick from Ohio thinks you shred because you can catch a wave with a longboard. RADICAL dude! I was the guy losing my cool. Awesome, you figured out that I know the magic spot. I hate follow the leader in the surfing world in VB or in places like Jeanettes pier that are...VB. Might as well call it 1st st south, but thats another story...

Seriously, what is with these "nose rides" that are 2 feet from the nose. I am not the best surfer in the world, but I USE the wave. Make me RESPECT YOU. The wave blowing shenanigans has me boiling.

Next complaint...WHAT IS WITH THE WETSUITS!!! It's what...76 degree water temp? UGH
Must really be shreddin. Need to keep them muscles warm so you can take a mushy right? I'm totally humbled...

Guess I will bust out the fish next time. It's a sawed off longboard so your lives will suck!

I didn't even see a cutback this morning. I'm talking an East Coast cutback. UGHH

ha, in sight of the pier but no I was quite a few blocks away. No wetsuit, that is funny though, it's like bath water right now. I could see that pack at the pier, it looked thick. No, I was on my own peak down the beach until a few groups of 5-6 people squeezed me from the north and the south. Got to love paddle battles for 3 foot waves... I doubt I was one of your offenders, I got some really fun ones, but who knows, I've been called worse than a kook. I was on the log though, well, because it was 3 ft. I'm always up for a session killa, just holler!

just surfed ventnor away from crowds + guards and it seemed to be a good move...

 

9am to 1pm....easily head high.....kinda shifty....plenty of power...not crowded at all.....best i've seen in a while....glad I didn't miss this one....aaaahhhhhhhh

 

If your wondering if it's going to be crowded, you just gave it away!!

 

no.moco was the call today.checked every spot,squan isn't that big,but in no moco it is pumping.belmar is actually the best bet today lol no joke theres legit ones out there.not quite 23foot but super heavy.its been an awesome summer,hopefully theres still some tomorrow

 

todays swell was fun, biggest ive seen it in a while and was way better than last weak's. and who the **** cares if people where 3/2 wetsuits or not? i hate when people act like surfing is "hardcore" because its really not
