Can't say where we were, but Seldom & TLO & Koki & Gfootr & Mitchell know......lotta fun....drove down a coupla miles.....bars lined up so, so nice.....the best part was 1,500 yds of peaks all to ourselves this morning & all day long. Blue skies lefts & rights chest high, clean & green & peeling. 12 secs gotta love the EZ paddle outs. Surfed out & collapsing until manana.

Thanks for the birthday gift Bertha.

Yup its done OH and punchy and its already logged its share of little No Flo barrels since I got her in April. Granted this part of the coast is not known for particularity deep drainers but I'm pleased with the combo of hold when in need it and release when I want it (got large FCS II carvers)

Hit the usual spot at first light. Tide not optimal (it was mid heading into high), but 2'@12s & light offshores produced some fun clean rideable waist to chest+ waves. Interesting phenomena was as the tide became higher, a reflection wave coming out from the shore began to form either combining with incoming set wave for increase wave takeoff jack or produced little "jump ramps" down the line. It's all good. Nothing epic, but definitely worthwhile.

    BTW, Happy B-Day Yank.

I don't usually post on here but dang did anyone else surf North Topsail today or yesterday? Oh wait, I know the answer is no because I was on it all by myself for hours and hours gorging myself on an endless supply of fun rippable waves. Seriously, I've seen the pics on surfline and I don't know if I would trade where I was surfing with any of those other spots with crowds. Fun factor was definitely a 10. Even this morning the leftovers were still playful and lining up. Rashed all to hell and loving it. Hope you guys all scored some good ones.

Had a friend hit surf city last night and this AM and said it was a blast. Even had a rainbow pointing the way.

I scored big and fast in the morning at my home break. It was kind of crowded though so went searching north hoping to chase the swell up the coast. Learned my lesson, don't live the search when you live in the right spot. Anyway I rode 4 different boards on this swell I'm more than lucky. I think the weekend swell from the low was more fun although I'm still mind surfing that dawn session on Tuesday.

Sunday swell, not even Bertha HH on sets. Monday Bertha showing in the morning smaller than yesterday, Tuesday solid head high and OH sets, Oh and today this says it waist to chest and clean all day. I love Florida, the land of flatness. http://youtu.be/6dKq5K_t2II

Waist high leftovers at IOP last night. Surfed until dark (basically until the tide killed the remaining swell). Twas a good week. Now I need a day off, cause my arms are spent.

Surfed 7 hours in Rhodey yesterday with awesome conditions most of the day. Will give more deets later but wasn't satisfied with my level of execution and therefore had to drive back early this AM to charge 3-4ft and clean there today. Damn glad I did.

Still can't get over how good hose sessions were. Surf 16 hours in 2 days Wednesday was probably the second best session I've ever had. Left and right barrels, long rippable waves, perfect weather and little to no current. Stoke tank is overflowing right now. Hope everybody else scored!!!

Was at the rod. pier yesterday too :D I don't think have ever seen so many people getting barreled up and down that beach. Got really good as the tide filled in with OH sets most of the day. If anyone has any pics, please post them.
