Dawn patrol (5:30 - 6:30 this morning) in Virginia Beach at the north end - nice swells (2-3 ft), tide a little high but some nice rides all the same. :)

About 20 minutes of nice waves before the tide and north wind killed it.

Actually, it's very easy to complain when you are sitting in an office in NYC. Hope you guys caught it good and leave some leftovers for us weekend warriors.

    Same in Charleston.

I gave blood yesterday and work's policy is you get to go home 4 hours early to "recuperate". So I recuperated for a couple hours with some stomach to chest clean waves with a good offshore wind.

This storm was an odd one since it traveled north to south but I got it Saturday morning and yesterday when it turned around again.

    I rode a longboard.

Best place I saw anywhere was Surf City.......Clean long lines breaking well overhead. Once the wind calmed down it was pretty sweet.

i went down to 1st around 0530 and it was really nice. a decent crowd but not too bad. there were some chest to shoulder sets every once in a long while but most waves were around stomach high. it definetly dropped fast though
