best place to be a surfer

heres why,

u think of a spot like cali,or oz,etc where its warm,perfect waves,but what u don't think of is the 10 million people that surf there.so do u want nice warm waves where u might get 5 waves in 5 hours,or would u rather be in a cold location like nj and go out in march when the waters 39 and no crowds?.doesnt make it the best place to be a surfer but Id rather be here than there.

in reality tho id rather be in southern California,but id probably get burnt out after 2 years and move back east.im not a fan of competition,i wouldn't want to paddle battle every sesh

“Cali” is not warm!
Everyone thinks california is this hot metropolis. It’s ducking cold. It’s 6am and 47 degrees right now.

4/3 boots and a hoodie for me this morning.

Crowds aren’t bad unless you go to blacks, windan, Ob/mb jetty, cliffs. I surf alone a lot. I give up quality of wave for that, but who cares.

South mission beach is my fav place to be a surfer (at the moment)
