Hey everybody, as most of you know I just got back from Rincon PR from my honeymoon and I just wanted to give Bobby at Mar Azul Surf Shop a little good press as he and his wife were absolutely class acts and provided a great place to stay with everything we could possibly need. If you want to stay in Rincon I highly recommend his villa, which is right on property of the surf shop and is just a short drive / walk down to Sandy Beach.

You can't beat what this place has to offer as far as convenience, comfort, privacy, and peace and quiet. Anything we needed, he had right on hand. Since it was "slow season" the surfboard rental was free, as well as the chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach towels, etc.,The power went out in most of Rincon for a few nights due to storms but we never even knew the power went out until we went outside and heard his generator (can't hear it from the room). The guy made sure we never went without power, A/C, etc., most everywhere had no power including the restaurants, but his place did.

The last day we were there (Sunday) he and his wife cooked us lunch, homemade rice / beans, chicken wings, plantains, etc., one of the best meals we had all week for sure, but it was the gesture that counted. The guy has a great reputation obviously, as every local we spoke to knew exactly who he was, even 2.5hrs away from his spot they knew Bobby. Do yourself a favor and look him up if you want to have a fun / safe trip in PR. Good day

Depends what time of year, but we just went for 8 days and was right around $700 total. Expect about $100/night or so, but goes up soon for peak season.

According to me, their time and charges can change by time and other issues.

Ya, no joke this place is awesome. Bobby and Raquel r the best. If ya get a chance get a hold of Ramse at surf lessons Puerto Rico. He is hands down the best instructor on the island. He got my wife surfing on her her first wave. We have made many new friends for life. Sure the waves aren't the biggest but everyone has been a huge smile. Everyone we met have been fun, friendly and helpful even when we got lost a couple times. Come and check it out ya won't be disappointed.
