This was how we were treated a little further north, was quite an awesome day for me personally. Many clean exits and a few brief flights.
Cristobal was a real bust for Delmarva...If i remember right the forecast was for solid HH+ long period and clean conditions. It was one of those hilarious hurricane swells where everyone was trying to figure out where to surf with all that size, and then the swell energy is focused to our north, and shows up on Delmarva stomach-chest high dribble. I'm sure the Delmarva got better than this somewhere, but this was the Cristobal I surfed, supposedly around it's peak.
Cristobal was a bit underwhelming in NY. Best day of surf I've had in Jersey was August 13th of last year.
