i was wondering what the best wax would be for down here at WB cause i've tried all kind of thicknesses that sex wax makes and they're just not working for me. And why i'm asking this is cause when i go for any sharp turns on any of my boards i'm loosing my footing when i have just waxed that board. so if you have any advise please give it to me.

Wrightsville Beach (as in the Wright Brothers, first in flight, etc), not Writesville Seriously, not seriouly; You're joking not your joking MB and WB have similar weather and water temps. Sticky Bumps tends to clump up and come off while Sex Wax goes on better, but doesn't last long. I prefer Sex Wax. I'm planning on trying some local shop brands soon. If you have too much wax built up it is hard for the new wax to get a good grip. Use a blow dryer to heat up the wax on your board and scrape it off with an old credit card so you can start with a fresh slate. Let us know what wax works best for you. I'd like to find something better than what I have been using.
this is what i do, I skrap it clean, then I use sex wax base coat, after that I use a whole cake of stiky bumps, but thats just me....
wax and leashes and traction pads and fins and stuff like that are for squares. I ride a sheet of plywood that I cut in half. but I like that new stuff, magma. goes on easy, pretty sticky.
the magma is pretty good... if you're having a problem with your wax not being stick enough, get some of the sticky bumps SOY wax.... that stuff's ridiculous personally, i use palmers..., but sex wax makes some pretty good stuff (the original formula blows,) if you can find it, try sex wax 'humps' ... that stuff works well.... famous also makes some good stuff... try different things, ... i usually don't put 2 different brands on over one another.... seems like it comes off too easy...
Glued down FLYPAPER works great. I'll bet you NONE of you remember something called SLIP CHECK. There's some History......

I use Grippers! It comes from Jacksonville, Fl. I buy it by the case every few years. It doesnt come off. I use it in 55 degree to 85 degree water.
Fishin don't give him such a hard time. He probably doesn't know that surf wax is a thing of the past. I use candle wax. Specifically yankee candle wax at wb. Not only does it make your board smell good it cures smelly feet. What a ****ing kook
