It helps having that built in handle / rope thing to hold onto on duck dives

I am just tired of her "Jesus" game... if Jesus loves you so much, why did he send a shark to rip your arm off? I wish athletes would leave God out of there speeches... God doesn't give a shti about your surfing.

Slightly off topic. But they actually have developed prosthetics that can move AND feel. People who have lost hands or arms can actually feel specific textures. Certain textures that used to give them goose bumps, they can feel again. And get the same goose bumps. It works by receiving signals from the brain through nerves in the shoulder. As of now it's only doable in a lab, but the technology is advancing and it's kinda amazing.

Who knows, maybe in a few years we will see her surfing with a prosthetic. Wonder if it would throw her game off. It's been a long time since she surfed with two arms

I've seen this, but curious how quickly the signal can be sent.
Like, in the videos out right now, they're in a lab and solely focusing on one task. Squeezing a cup or picking up a pen.
I wonder how quick a computer can actually pick up the signals from the brain.

Turning for a wave, quick paddle and an even faster pop up. You're not thinking or focusing about doing anything-kinda of reactionary and immediate. We will def see this in our lifetime. Hopefully the half bots don't destroy us

Pretty amazing stuff, wonder how it would work in the surf.
