The real question is how many make landfall in the US? 20 hurricanes and no landfall means epic surf season for all. 17 named storms 9 hurricanes 5 major 4 landfalls on EC or GOM as Cat 1 or more by end of season. And the insurance companies cry for a government bailout by October. Frankie has a stroke before end of hurricane season, mid broadcast (prolly already did a few times but who would notice). WE all get pitted, soooo pitted.
Pacific basin is active, prob won't be long for Atlantic to start cranking: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=epac&fdays=2
NOAA will issue an updated outlook directly prior to mid-season peak. With the new tech and various upgrades, I'm betting numerous bugs have yet to be resolved. Additional late bets will be considered. Any other players?
