Buoys, if you can no longe surf in your future, dont let go of the surfer mentality...keep thefriends, keep the stoke, keep it all. You have been, are, and always will be a surfer.
And I will do exactly that by getting my granddaughter to start learning to surf hopefully this summer. I already have 2 bellyboards ready for them- one for our daughter, and one for our granddaughter. Now all we need is summer and a few small waves!!
My surfing days will come to a close in the very near future; I hope to simply "pass it on" to my family as a "family activity".
That would be a wonderful legacy for sure FLSURFDOG! I always enjoy watching parents pushing the little ones into the waves, making it fun and not “work”.

Ohhh, Betty we will see you out there soon enough, not to toot my horn or anything, but I already feel like I'm already part of the Jetty, 48 yrs. of surfing all over the place, but your homebreak will always be home, and this is the place where you always see your friends, cant replace your hommies.
Betty is ready for the jetty. The question is:
Is the jetty ready for Betty?
