Got ya. Yeah, I wasn't at Coligny. Only reason I ever surfed there over the summer was because my restaurant is on Coligny beach. I can see the swell from my office, so when it was up, I would just take a break and walk out. Pretty easy to justify. Still haven't tried out those spots up North Forest. One of these days. I was at "you know where" yesterday.
yeah... Its was crowded but fun. Most guys were leaving as I got there. But I surfed until about 30 minutes past sunset. It was nice.
ill tell you what i saw the cam and it looked smaller. how many people where out? i will never understand why people will flood that place. there are better waves with no one on them. naw dude im going to burkes.. but j street looks great and no ones on it.. naw im going to burkes..
Alright cool, the suit I have right now is superrr uncomfortable and gives me the worst rash on my neck every time I go out. I have a 4/3 suit on the way and 3mm booties also coming in, Christmas presents that didn't get here in time.
****! That place sounds like it fires all year. #HiltonHeadFollyarethenewBelmar" "SCbetterthannorthshore#
I think these are from the winter of 09 not the biggest , but I do remember that snow fall its was cold that day .
I think I know exactly where your talking about.remember hurricane earl a few years ago,the same spot was breaking like a quarter mile out huge whitewash mountains, looked like semi waimai.the inside was like 7ft shorebreak and real foamy,i remember there were only 2 guys out and u needed binoculars to see them, the waves were easily 15ft,maybe even 20ft face but idk.I got pics from that day but on an old memory card somewhere I cant find
not earl, but same set up but this was years ago before they dredged the shyt out of it.u cant even see the water from this spot anymore
