You know you're doing something right (Jeremy Flores) when you already have a 10 and a 9, then you get an 9.33 on a right at Teahupoo.

More really fun looking surf today. Not want you want to see for Tahiti, but that are still getting some sick barrels.
    Freddy's beating Medina right now.

I thought Medina's last score was a little low... He unloaded everything in his bag of tricks and got below a 9.

In my opinion, the wave John John had in round two was the best wave of the comp. so far. He got nice a deep in the backside barrel, spit out and actually did a nice big hack off the top and finished with another little snap into the dry reef. Everyone else was trying to milk these weak little cutbacks into the whitewater at the end of the wave and it was making them all look like non-ASP-tour-pros... So John John hacked it up in style with some power. He didn't get the best score, but he by far has the nicest style so far out of anyone.

I don't know Zack, Anthony Walsh rd 1 was super deep and came out after the spit. Difficulty goes to Walsh , but I agree jjf's style was unmatched and he made the second best ride look easy.

Rd 4 matchups look awesome, hope they get some good sets.

Wild heat. Kelly zigged when he should have zagged. Julian and Kai were smokin.

Yeah, I didnt get to see the whole thing. I just had to watch the clip highlights that they had on the site. I am just more and more impressed with John John as he gets older. The kid is charging.

3-4 yrs ago I wasn't a believer, but now I think he might wind up being the greatest #2. Barring injuries I'm sure we'll be watching JJF and Nat Young in title races for the next 10 years at least. Seabass is nasty too, I just don't think he cares about titles as much as just having fun, which is cool.

im starting to believe john john will be the one to take kellys throne.iv been watching for the past 2hrs where there hasn't been 1 good wave, and jjf first wave drops a 10.i think jj is overhyped,he surfs great but never really seemed like the competitive type, but hes in the runnin for a world title.i only watch the heats that have Kelly parko mick jj,and I caught all his heats live and seen his other 10.hes usually overscored compared to what he can do,but hes definitely changing the game

I'm going to have a major switch-up for Trestles.

I'll post the top five from this comp in our FS club forum a little later today.
