Another issue I have. The phrase "African american". Why not just american? I'm first gen, have more of a right than most for referring to myself as ___ american, but I don't. Just american. When did being just american become such an issue?

I think it would end some serious division if we just stopped ****ing dividing ourselves. There's a novel thought.
