First time I ever surfed in the winter was 96...It was one of those suits rented from the surf shop that used to be in the Pier 18 Mall

 

Y'all getting any snow up there? Is it anything like what the fucasters prognosticated or just a bit of snow?

lol pier 18 i remember that store . i think i had a few buddies that rented from the same store .
what treat it is to have a sealed suit , taped seems , and fuzzy linings . i feel toasty just thinking about it . But when i think of the early 90's , my ba!!s seem to start aching . Those days were rough , and i can only imagine how it felt in the 80's and 70's . i kinda owe a thanks to those generations of surfers , they created the wetsuit , and slowy evolved to what we wear today . Thanks for freezin your wheelies off .

Nah Pier 18 was a micro mall on LBI not a store name to my knowledge....Currently in NE Philadelphia there is about 3 to 4 inches on the ground...still snowing...

Hopefully this storm is big. Would be great if it ****ed up the replenishment for many breaks and brought back some good sandbars.

 

pier 18 was right down the street from the binger store . too bad that place closed .

 

High for the next 3 days here is 24° I think i'm gonna go snowboard up north. should be over a foot of freshies!

what u boys knowabout rocking 2 pairs of yellow dishwashing gloves with ducktape around the wrists?if u want to surf u will find a way,doesnt make someone cooler or less cooler that they surf in a different state.surf or don't surf,we don't phukin care!!!

and there will be no surfing in jersey tomorrow,atleast where im at.monmouth county.vic at seas,bad winds if u manage to shovel out ur car and ur entire street to the main road
