    Great share CJ. Thanks!
    Those conditions though...
It looks far beyond my stoke meter but then again I'm not a teenager anymore, far from it.
Awsome to see them out getting on it.

Yea, Mitch... New Jersey got the goods on that one. 2+ days of good waves, too. AND a rare "all lefts" day... and perfect at that.

I admit I was a bit jealous of the conditions you guyz got up there. Never really got good here. Thursday was decent.

I was at a family party 5 years ago and my brothers in laws were talking about surfing when its snowing! 90% of the room was like, screw that. I was like, I wanna do that! last year was surfing R.I. when I had my first surf/snow experience! it was a natural high I will never forget! complete serenity, almost spiritual! most don't surf never mind in a snow storms! I guess were just the lucky ones, PEACE!

As an aside, how do you guys keep your face from being frostbitten? And how do you keep your eyeballs warm? These are questions that keep Floridians up at night.

I was actually looking for a hood with a mask type, full face! couldn't find it! wondering if the pics I've seen are ski type mask under the hood! either way, I hate ice cream headaches! I once took the hood off because I was warm but forgot to put it back on before I went under! fkn painful! haven't done that again, yet!

Yea there's no protection for the face. You just deal with it. I guess you could wear a mask...but i don't want anything covering my mouth or nose when in the water.

If it gets bad I'll pull the chin of my hood up and breath through my mouth, giving my nose some brief seconds of warmth

your right! if your mouth and nose are covered with soaking foam, its like that torture technique. WATERBOARDING! its not that cold! if it is, stay home!

Vaseline and or some thick sunblock have protected my face a bit in the bitter cold. Used some pastey 50+spf last weekend. Worked for four hours in 15 degrees. Kept having to pinch myself to make sure I was good, but I was. Helped that the water was mid 40s.
