Any potential with the blob offshore of the OBX? Looked more impressive this AM...
Also reading about the potential on the stalled front at the end of weekend/early next week.. Any thoughts?

Theres 149 days of hurricane season left and were due!

ya, there was some heavy convection off the obx early today, but too much shear for any tropical development.

Its interesting that over the past few years we've got some tropical storms in June, and then it pretty much skips over to September before we see any more tropical action. Hopefully, we'll get some storms sooner this year. Typically things heat up very dramatically as soon as we reach September. Storms for June, July, and August dont seem to be too reliable. But, the researchers are calling for a busy season, so lets hope for some good ones.
