I know there was a thread on this a while ago but i could not find it. So here it goes again. What is the type of paint markers or paints are the best to use for your board. And do you need some type of clear coat to make it stay longer. I haven't painted any of my own boards but i think its time for my new stick to get some color. So if anyone has any advice this let me know thanks!

As long a your doing it on a finished board. You can use posca pens in your finished surfboard. And water based acrylic paint will work as well. If possible get an hvlp gun for best solid coverage. You can also use any spray paint can. If your doing it on foam use water based acrylic for eps. Polyurethene you can use anything listed above. To seal it use acrylic krylon clear coat. 2 -4 coats. Or krylon also makes a polyurethane spray Which is basically the same thing. Try not to build up your paint to high. Hope this helps.
