Anyone been to Mal Pais and rented a board? I am leaving on Saturday and up until now was going to bring my own board. However if there is a decent selection of rentals down there I may just rent because it is so damn expensive to bring a board down there.....
I was there in Aug. I remember there being plenty of shops along the main access road in mal pais/ santa teresa. You will be fine not bringing a board. Make sure to grab a pizza at "El Pulpo" in Santa Teresa. seriously good pie.
Thanks for the info Thanks for the info. I just found out that my flight won't even allow surfboards during this time of year (Spirit Airlines ) so it is a good thing there are plenty of surf shops down there! will definitely check out the pizza place.
