Hey guys, was seeing if anyone had any good advice on traveling in bocas, cautions and just things to expect. I am going with my girl friend, my buddy and my gf friend. Is bocas safe for girls? not sure if the locals are creeps/sketchy ha. Thanks for any info!
i've been to the caribbean side of costa rica and it was not a place i would travel with females. i think bocas is more remote. idk free bump
As long as you have your wits about you and don't put yourself in any stupid unnecessary predicaments you should/will be fine. I was warned of one town to avoid while driving there but it slips my mind now. You may want to look that up? Just don't wear your nicest watch, leave your phone on the beach, go out somewhere random late at night, etc.... Panama is awesome though! Oh, if you're driving from Panama City definitely rent a car somewhere past the bridge because you will never find your way through town, it's doubly insane Friday - Sunday.
