excuse my ignorance, but would you ever need more than 1 bodyboard? Are their some bodyboards, like surfboards, that are better in different waves than others. I mean will one bodyboard perform better on a 2 foot day as compared to a ten foot day?
YES and i have like boards and now i am getting 2 more cause some are faster then others and some are made for drop knee and so and so.
You wouldn't think, but there definitely are. First, there are 2 different riding styles, prone and dropknee, and generally you'll want a bigger board more designed for DK if you mostly ride that. Then, there are different cores and amount of stringers (or none), and you can pretty much dictate all the dimensions of the board. Certain cores are for warm water and certain ones for cold water.
