Recently I decided I wanted to buy a legitimate mount for my bodyboard that I can connect a go-pro to just in time for hurricane season. Here's the link: http://www.sportscamera.com.au/single-pin-bb-camera-mount-p-397.html

It hasn't come yet, but I was just wondering if anyone had any experience drilling/making holes in the sponge. When I bought my board I just went to the local surfshop and they drilled the hole and everything for my leash, but I'm not sure they would do this for me.

I just need to know which is the best method: drilling, or the hot screwdriver? How far down do I make it from the nose? Do I start on the sponge or the slick? What size should the drill be?

Yes i know theres a video, but its too fast and general.

my brother was actually looking to get one of these. you just need to find out what size drill bit to use and you're good. if you don't have it take it to the shop you got the leash plug drilled at and they'll do it for you

except you can't do any air tricks with a camera extension. And it still requires drilling a hole.
