Bombogenesis

I was wondering if any of the RI crew was gonna hit it.

I gotta be honest. There is a reef only a few miles from my house that will probably be very good late tomorrow depending on the timing of the storm passage. But, to be further honest, I'm not sure I could convince my wife to let me go, and I'm not sure I even want to.

Come Friday, man I just don't know. If I can hit the local reef, and put my wetsuit on and drive there with it on, and then also drive home right into a hot shower with it on, maybe. But doggone man, is it really worth it? I mean really? As much as I love surfing, I am thinking this is more to say I did it than for the joy of waves.

I'm hedging my bets by drinking heavily tonight. If I surf, it's going to hurt anyway so a hangover is no big deal. If I don't surf, then I win.

 

I can't stop watching this stupid stunt...

 

We got approximately one f_ck ton of snow in eastern MA so far. Maybe 11" so far, still coming down steadily. Weather forecast for tomorrow is now up to 15˚ but I'll still be giving it a miss.

Looks like Barry and Maine people might have a nice morning of it.

 

I'm snowed in pretty good. My cars are on a barrow street and the entire area is a waist deep snow drift. When the plow comes through we are screwed.

 

Kyle Latch from Delaware made it up to NJ yesterday to score some yesterday.
Southern Delaware got some serious snow & conditions on this storm. Had 10+ inches @ my house.
