Im sure this has been spoken about in the past, but its an awesome topic.

How much do enjoy bragging about an epic session?? To what extent do you exaggerate it?

    Everyone loves to brag :p:cool:

The only people who would care about my session are the people I just went out with. Since they know the truth, I can't exaggerate much. If I happen to go out alone, I'm usually honest about it. Its kind of like kissing & telling, which I don't do. :)

    Unless I shred

Unless I just am ripping and having the session of a lifetime, I don't brag. Even if it is the session of a lifetime, it's more of just describing rather than bragging.

There's only one or two people I know who really want to hear the recap, so they're the only people I even mention it to. Nobody else really wants to hear about it... trust me. I happen to be one of those people who want to hear about a great session. But I think I can also smell bulls*hit from a mile away, so it's funny to listen to the stories sometimes.

    Bragging

Wow, very impressive indeed! There is a fine line between being entertaining and being obnoxious. Nothing wrong with "showmanship" if you have the skills to pull it off. ;)

Hey, should I buy a longboard 9'6" or a SUP board?:D I am 5'6" 155 lbs and have trouble paddling out. Can't learn to ride waves if I can't get out:(

I love telling my surf buddies "You really missed it, should've been hear yesterday!" Especially when it was really going off and they couldnt make it out. all in fun of course. They do the same to me.

    LOL...

I let my surfing speak for me. Let others brag for me, like "Dude, that was a sick tube you just got!"

    "yeah, I know."

How about when your buddy is like, "I think I just landed an air."

"no, no you didn't. I saw you from the lineup. It looked like you just jumped off your board over the lip and you were flailing in the air."

Buy the 9'6" and starting a swimming program to develop your paddling. The SUP is a lot of fun but you can't use them at the surf beaches down by me in OC, MD. A 9'6" will be a very fun board at your weight. you could even knee paddle out and show off.
