Breakwater off aisp?

    anyone here about this from the bridge north in sections? Not really digging this for swells coming from NE. Not sure what impact it will have, but I surf this area 80% of the time and concerned. Being built to stop ai erosion north of the bridge which has been extensive.

    When you get rid of one sandbar, or insert a breakwater somewhere, a new sandbar forms, maybe even 2 or 3 somewhere nearby. That can be opportunity knocking.
    Breakwaters, jetties, docks,...all of them human hallucinogenic solutions rarely are solutions; just moves things a bit down the coast, rearrangement. That may take a bit of time, but, sooner or later, the opportunity will show up.

    This could not be more true. All cause more harm than good.

    At my local we have "beach re-nourishment"... also known as pumping money directly into the ocean.
