Good stuff chich. In my opinion stuff like that is proof of higher level thinking skills and consciousness in the animal world.
All creatures think and feel. I used to go out with my fishing friends just for the boat ride. If they'd catch a "Junk fish" like oyster toad, they'd fuggit up. cut their mouths if the hook wouldn't come right out, or bounce it off the boat into the water. I'd go off on them. I was, at that time, working out, 225 at 6'5", and would get in their face if they'd do it after I warned them not to. "They don't feel anything". "yeah, you sneek up on a fish and poke it in the butt with a pin, I'd bet they'd react. How'd you like me to bounce you off the deck." No more boat rides for me.
