Saw 5 guys tying a long bungee cord to the inlet fog horn on the jetty tonight and then launching from the beach, looked like mad fun. I gotta try that soon.
yeah those were my buddies chase and dave, and brian stoehr. its pretty sweet. ive only tried it in the water once. its really hard. we got used to it after that during a snowstorm, hooked it up to a truck and aimed ourselves at a ramp. its cool. youtube it.
Yah, one guy tried to stand up on his board while the other three held on until they launched him. He almost did a face plant two feet past the nose of his board and sand ain't as soft as water. Talk about a sand-burn.
