A) joking, B) have ridden waves in DE consistently for 28 yrs. Danielle wasn't comparible to any better spots. wish it weren't true, but alas it was.
Gotcha...completely missed "danielle" in your post. Was just saying east coast at it's best compares favorably to many CR spots. Too bad that happens only a handful of times a year vs. many many times a year in CR.
That was the point of my post; I hadn't seen DE go off for awhile with anything near comparable to what I've experienced in CR or the WC.
east coast vs costa east coast vs costa rica is a no brainer, however one of the best local surfers that I met while staying in the Tamarindo area said this about the east coast: "I surfed some of the best waves of my life at a contest in kill devil hills..." We get the juice, and the recognition- but they don't come often.
caught both swells ...last sunday morning danielle....nice chest high had a week vacation and got to surf my spot everyday since wednesday thursday night was spectacular....keep 'em comin'.....I love it when there's waves....
