Calcified wetsuit chest zipper

When I got my rip curl 3/2 out of the garage for the first time last month, the chest zip was locked up hard. WD 40 sprayed on for about an hour, and it loosened up and moved.

 

not soap, candlewax, but wd40 works too

 

If it's really crusted solid, try vinegar. Just soak a paper towel in it, and let it sit on the zipper for several minutes. It should work free. Just try not to get any on your suite.
