Actually a boat trip would be awesome. Lots of room on one of those big trimarans, have a few skiffs and jetskiis for towins and fishing excursions between swells. Island hop a nice mellow chain, no terrorists, maybe the Abacos in the Bahamas, or circumnavigate Barbados and anchor off choice locales. Or we could invade Cuba.

Everyone's invited. We can always get more boats, have a flotilla. Barry can be admiral. (Look up what happened to Captain Cook).

 

I'll take kidde Roque, seldom seen, yankee, and nopantslance. If nopantslance doesn't want to go I'll take Wayne the insane.

I'm in DPSUP. But I do have a two demands....
1. A stop over in Iceland. There a girl name Vigdis who lives outside of Reykjavik who likes @nal from older fellas like me.
2. A full color glossy print out of every picture of Asian boobies from the Scantily Clad thread.
Other than that, I'll bring my KBar knife, a couple bags of Doritos, a couple cases of Red Stripe, and a pair of swim goggles for propre underwater sand reconne.

There's a back way into the area that's closed off. Over the mtn and through the woods as it were. Definitely my favorite part of the coast too. Some very nice spots. There's one campground there that is world class. We did that drive last May. Wrong time of year for surf and the Water's damn cold. We'd have to bring Yankee and MIS too. TL, LB, CBSCREWY, yourdirtymama, purpleheadedyogurtslinger,moOk,stretch,dpsup,sisurfdog, Betty, NJSurfer42, Erock, Bill, Oipaul, Bubs, Archy, sh!1 I'd like to surf and drink with whiskey with everybody on here. I have few regrets, but I'm still bummed I missed out hanging with UncleTwoBarrels and Mitchell last time they were out on the best coast and Oipaul in Hawaii.

Too many dudes on here to pick four. But I'd got to say Barry and stank are two strong contenders. Barry because he is old and i get along better with old guys then guys my age. And stank because although he gives people a hard time now and then, its all in good fun. Seems like a good dude and someone who'd be fun to habe on a surf trip.

In all seriousness though. This would be a cool idea. Imagine going on a surf trip with a group of guys from SI that you have never met before. The unknown. That's right up my alley. I'd be down.

Considering most on here live on the EC or are from the EC originally, I'm surprised there hasn't been a SI get together. That'd be fun.

I'll hit it from a different angle.

I'd do the "over 29 yrs old" trip.

I guess we're products of when we grew up. I like barrells. Not much of an air dude. I ain't enough of a badass to need mountainous surf. Head high 200 yard barrells. Lots of time in between em so I can paddle my geezer ass back out. Gotta be tropical, 80 degree water. No wetsuites. NOBODY ELSE THERE. Not sure where that would be, but we're dreamin, right?

My crew...

Gerry Lopez, because he could teach me how to get barrelled, with elegance. And maybe I could score an old school single fin Lightning Bolt.

Mark Cunningham, because he could teach me how to get barrelled without a board. I ain't rockin no red Speedo though.

Betty, because she wouldn't dog me for goin beachcombin between sessions. Mr Betty can come also. But, in trade, I get to bring the friendly neighbor lady after she gets outa jail.

Mitchell, because his photography ROCKS. We gotta have pictures, unless I go surfin nekkid. That's off limits.
