I work out there and don't think you would stand a chance. I guess if you crawled under a bush off the main trail it would be possible. Would depend on the season as well, lots of activity around in the summer months and even with bug spray you would get devoured by the mosquitos.

go to the outdoor store & get yourself a camo net to cover your bivouac & stuff up so it's not discovered, especially when your in the water.try to be back kinda far so everything on the well traveled trail looks in it's normal place.

bivouac is just a fancy word for your campsite that you have set up.it's military for a forward, clandestine (hidden) campsite used for observation, etc.your campsite will be clandestine & hidden,so you got yourself a bivouac bro!!:)

the sand people are easily startled, but they'll soon be back.......& in greater numbers.also, remember, they always travel single file...to hide their numbers:D

I see rangers out there all the time. I stayed out there real late and had a fire on the beach, they never bothered me. But i think after dark they all go home. I kayaked out there last year about this time to do some rock fishing, ended up just exploring the back countrey (ALSUM) and ran into a fue bow hunters (I didnt know it was bow season lol) So u may wont to check that out before planning a over night. I think the rule is" you are alould to be over there anytime u wont(24 hours) u just cant sleep. Hope that helps alittle
