    I've heard there can be surf. It's like a mini Hawaii.

    Magic seaweed shows no shortage of swell while you're in port. Wind looks heavy onshore but you should look around for a protected spot. Looks like a fun island to tour on motorcycle as well.

    competes with Azores for best surf in Eurozone
    if you have a board charge it, watch out for angry locals, kinda douchey peacocks, like Belmar

    Later chapters in 'Barbarian Days' made it sound (like most surf spots) like it was great and is now still pretty good but a victim of development.

    Grand canary. I gots the spot near the port (NE) or a free ride to mas palmas every day.

    Don't know Grand Canary, been to Tenerife maybe 16, 17 years ago? It was sick, do some research, you can definitely score

    Rented a 7.0 pilly looking board. Waves were meh onshore and chest high but i got a few it was fun
