I passed my state licensing exam this morning! Now I have to do fingerprints and background check. Soon I’ll have my Health, Life, and Annuity (Including variable contracts) License in hand.
Thanks bro! I should be solid, it’s just finger prints. I have a DUI arrest that was reduced to a Reckless Driving from almost 13 years ago, that will show up but I already told the company and provided my court disposition document to them. Other than that, they won’t find anything on me.
Alright, DP got a job (congrats - I am truly happy for you) so can we end this thread and start talking more about surfing, titties, fishing, jokes, weed and beer?
Nice job lad. Thank Wayne's God I was hired with a handshake 20+ years ago. If they did a BG check on me, the computer would explode.
Thanks dude! And that’s funny, hahaha guess it’s good thing my incident was nearly 13 years ago. I’ve managed to stay out of trouble since.
I got a DUI 13 years ago too! When I went to the intoxicated driver resource center (court ordered - I was 19), they said you did not have to list a DUI as a criminal offense. it's stated as "The highest driving infraction". I'd be curious to see if it actually came back on a criminal background check... https://thelawdictionary.org/article/is-a-duidwi-charge-a-crimonal-offense-or-a-traffic-offense/ (4th paragraph down - Looks like it only applies to NJ, WI)
It’s official! I got my agent ID and am open for business. I got the call tonight and will be in the field later this week. It’s been a long month trying to get to this point. Now it’s time to get the job done, help some people, and make some money.
