I'm looking for a spot to set up some car pools from Washington DC / Baltimore area (I'm half way in between currently). If there is a sticky for this already let me know!<br /><br />This weekend looks best for surf, but snow would also be fun. I've got room for another surf board or 2 snowboards (roof rack or 60/40 split). Or, perhaps you have a Sprinter van and can take everyone who wants to go! My gf is heading out of town and I'm making plans to do the same... Last year I did something similar, connected with someone on CL intending to surf, ended up snowboarding instead, and had a blast. Trying my luck again.<br /><br />I'm always watching the weather in NJ/DE/MD for surf as well as WV/PA for snow, but when it's good I have passed up a few good days because I don't want to burn the gas just for myself. My past two trips in the region were splitboarding/snowshoeing some pow in PA on President's Day weekend, and paddleboarding/surfing some waves in Assateague on January 12. As far as surfing goes, I say the colder the better, since there's only a handful of people out there with thick suits. For snow the next few weeks are going to be prime for Seven Springs halfpipe as temps stay above freezing.<br /><br />Hope to hear from you. Stay positive!
