    +1

And the notion that racism only exists in the south is ludicrous and just gives racists a free pass everywhere else. I used to have to travel to Philly often for biz and it disgusted and offended me on so many levels sometimes how people acted. It usually goes like this...they're on their best behavior until you're alone with them and then its n*gga this and n*gga that and I stop and say why the hell do you think that's ok with me? Because I'm from the South? So not only are you a racist scumbag but also a stereotyping bigot. F you.

Some of the most racist people I've met have been from the North and midwest. Michigan, South Dakota, NY, etc. But to them it's ok to them because they aren't some southern hick.

Racism is everywhere. Changing the sheets won't change a thing. But give it two days and no one will care. Just need a Kartrashian to post a pic or a celeb to have a wardrobe malfunction and it's all forgotten...

+1000 to MIS and Seldomme. The world would be a better place if people would just pull their panties up and deal with it.

How did we go from a nation that celebrated free speech to one that is terrified of it and only seeks to not offend?

I have an answer that no one will like, but I will keep this one in my pocket, out of fear of offending :)

I will offer this hint: who cant you criticize?

my bad, that sharp 90 degree angle threw me for a loop. I am sure the attitudes of people respected that political boundary

Also, I took part in a few demonstrations against the Confederate flag at the State House, has to have been close to twenty years ago now. The flag has only been flying there since the sixties (nineteen sixties), and was placed there as a symbol of defiance in the face of desegregation. It probably wouldn't make a huge difference, but it's ridiculous that it still flies there.

You forgot entitled, like narcissism, and a loner (which I didn't mention earlier.) I think it's important to look at trends. It tells us a lot about the culture we live in. Some of the people on this forum said the bowl haircut gave him away. Does that mean they hate everyone with a bowl haircut? Of course not. But why did they say that? I think it's interesting. And of course the FBI profiles people. The Boston marathon bomber went down the path that many terrorists take. Even the Russians told the FBI to watch out for the older brother because he had traveled to Chechnya. The FBI missed it. Had they caught that detail they may have prevented the crime. Profiling and stereotyping are sensitive and it's easy to cross lines. I'm no expert, so I should really keep my curiosities to myself since I'm offending so many people on this forum, which I have no intention of doing. It's just interesting that so many of the mass shootings are done by these loner, aggressive, down and out young white males.

Julia, I will run an ANOVA on the # and racial composition of murders/murderers and the % of race compositions of America

I guarantee there is nothing deviant other than media slant

might want to adjust your wardrobe, your bias is showing
