I just bought an eight-foot Charley Baldwin board outside of AC for $125. (I don't have any pictures of the board, sorry.) A surf shop in OC told me that I got a steal even though it has glassed-in fins and there a small ding in the back that needs repair. Even with my limited knowledge of the board market I knew that it was a no-loss buy. I plan to add it as a second board to use after I master my 9.4 WRV. Does anybody know the history of these boards? Nobody I talked to in Jersey knew of a CB board.
Charley Baldwin shapes out of central florida - New Smyrna Beach area, has been shaping for at least 35 years and makes good boards - don't see many up north though Jim
